Brescia will host Inter Milan tonight at Stadio Mario Rigamonti in a game counting for Serie A Round 10. The Nerazzurri are currently sitting one point behind league leaders Juventus, while Brescia is in a tough spot in the 18th position.
Antonio Conte’s team couldn’t materialise Juventus draw at Lecce to regain advantage and claim the top spot in the league. Inter drew 2-2 in his last game at home against Parma, as it’s in these type of games where you see if the team is built to be champions or not. They have an opportunity tonight to redeem themselves and grab a good result in a stadium where the home team still didn’t win a game for Serie A. However, Conte has never won when facing Brescia, in his coaching career (3 Draws, 1 Loss), but are the only Italian team with a 100% winning record away from home, so it will be interesting to see which record remains unbeaten. Juventus slip-ups are quite rare in the domestic competitions, and Inter need to take advantage of them if they want to compete for the Serie A title.
As for Brescia, they’re going through a hard moment. The newly promoted team is having a tough time adjusting to the main Italian competition, as they only have one point at home, that came in their last game against Fiorentina of Franck Ribery. This will be another hard game for Euginio Corini squad, with the most probable result being a victory for Inter Milan. Even if they only have 1 Draw and 3 Losses at home, they seem to have no problem at scoring the ball. Brescia produced 4 goals already in the three home games, one of them coming against Juventus. Nine of Inter’s last away games in Serie A have gone over 2.5 goals, so expect this match to be wide open as well.
Lautaro Martinez has been on a tear lately, scoring 5 goals in Inter’s last six games games, and I expect him to have several chances tonight as we could see a high scoring match from both these teams.
Lautaro Martinez to score at anytime @2.18
