The Chicago Bulls host the Dallas Mavericks tonight at United Center.
Losers of four games in their last five, the Bulls will look to snap their two-game losing streak when they meet the Mavericks tonight, in front of their fans. Zach Lavine suffered a tweak in his quad against the New York Knicks two days ago, but is listed as probable for the upcoming fixture. The former Dunk contest winner has been putting up very good numbers this season, although it’s not been enough for his team to have a record worthy of playoff positions. Both Jim Boylen and the Bulls organization have been under immense pressure to deliver results, which has not been happening lately. They’ll have a tough game tonight, even with the possibility of Luka Doncic being out again. Let’s see how they’ll perform against one of the best Western Conference teams.
The Dallas Mavericks come off a win in Minnesota without Luka Doncic, and they’ll try to do the same tonight against the Bulls. The Slovenian is questionable for tonight with a thumb injury, but even without him, the Mavs have what it takes to come away with the win. Kristaps Porzingis always steps up in Doncic’s absence, as he posted a monster statline of 38 points, 13 rebounds and 5 blocks against the Timberwolves. Add to that, the fact that Seth Curry and Tim Hardaway Jr. have been delivering very good performances lately and Dallas becomes one dangerous team for any opponent. They should be able to take care of business at United Center tonight.
The Bulls are going through a tough time at the moment, as they are having a hard time to beat any kind of opposition. The Mavs arrive tonight with the motivation to climb the standings in order to secure a higher playoff position.
