Inter MIlão host FC Barcelona on the final matchday of the Champions League group stage. Only one victory guarantees the Milano team the next phase of the competition. Barcelona has already the qualification guaranteed.
History tells us that FC Barcelona has never won at Giuseppe Meazza. In their seven previous matches at Inter stadium, the Italian team drew five times and won twice. On the overall record, Inter has only won one of their last five matches and have conceded at least one goal in each. Inter are going through a good phase: in the last eleven, they have lost just one, leading a run of five games without losing.
Stefano Sensi, Nicolo Barella, and Alexis Sanchez are injured. Roberto Gagliardini is in doubt.
Barcelona has already confirmed their qualification and now they can manage the team for the game in Italy (Lionel Messi has not been called up for the match). They have won three of their last five games against Inter and are looking to win at a stadium where they have never won. Two of the last matches between the two teams have witnessed over 2.5 goals. The Spanish champions are slowly finding their rhythm and have led six consecutive games to win.
Ousmane Dembele, Jordi Alba, and Nelson Semedo are injured.
Even without important players, Barcelona will present a formation capable of facing an Inter team that will fight for the qualification.
