Leicester didn´t lost any of their last five games against Chelsea in regular time (they were beaten in the FA Cup quarter-finals after extra-time). In those five games, neither team was able to score more than one goal - all ended the 90 minutes with less than 2.5 goals, while two produced goals on both sides. Playing at home, Leicester didn´t lose to Chelsea since 2014.
The Foxes arrive in this match after a surprising defeat against Aston Villa that did not allow the team to reach the final of the Carabao Cup. They are currently in a less consistent moment of the season and the schedule has been tough for the Brenden Rodger´s squad- Leicester played eight games in 2020. In the last five outings, they won two and lost three. Four of those games witnessed more than 2,5 goals and only one didn´t end with goals on both sides.
Chelsea appears to have found some regularity - The Blues lost only once in the last seven games and will have fresher legs in this match. Lampard's team played only six games in 2020 and didn´t play in midweek. In the last five games, three witnessed more than 2.5 goals and only two had goals on both sides.
Leicester: Nampalys Mendy and Daniel Amartey are injured. Wes Morgan is doubtful.
Chelsea: Olivier Giroud, Tammy Abraham, Reece James, Christian Pulisic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are injured.
Both teams are effective offensively, so we expect goals on both sides
