Big match coming up this Saturday as Manchester City hosts Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium. 4th and 3rd respectively, Cityzens and Blues are looking to close the gap on Liverpool, who leads the Premier League, 8 points ahead Chelsea and 9 ahead Manchester City.
Current 2x Premier League champions, Guardiola's team are having difficulties to defend their titles as City are already 9 points behind Liverpool. The team comes from a 3-1 defeat against the Reds at Anfield Road, and are hoping to get back on the winning track. City leads the Premier League in goals scored but are facing difficulties on their defense as the team is facing major injuries on that part of the field, especially losing Aymeric Laporte with a season-ending injury. That fact led the team to concede at least two goals in 33% of their league matches this season. A defeat this Saturday could leave City out of title contention at such an early stage of the season. Zinchenko, Laporte and Sane are all injured while Bernardo Silva is facing a suspension due to the Benjamin Mendy's case. Ederson is expected to be back in the lineup after an injury that kept him out of the game against Liverpool.

Lampard's team are in an impressive form lately. The Blues are on a 6-game winning streak for the Premier League and won 5 of the 6 away games played so far in the League. Since the major 4-0 defeat on season open at Old Trafford against Manchester United, Chelsea has been showing impressive performances away from Stamford Bridge, averaging 3 goals per game. Mason Mount, Pulisic, Tomori and Tammy Abraham are some examples of young players that are making waves in the League, especially the English striker who scored 10 goals already. Despite their impressive improvement, Chelsea are yet to keep a clean sheet away from Stamford Bridge and lost points with the current Premier league top seven teams.

Chelsea are on an impressive run but we expect that Manchester City will be able to control the game and get the victory.
Look for Manchester City to win and both teams to score!
