Manchester United will receive Everton at Old Trafford, in a match for Premier League’s Round 17.
It looks like Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his team are finally finding some consistency as of late. They’re coming off two incredible wins for the league, winning at home against Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham and then going to the Etihad Stadium to win the Manchester derby. Marcus Rashford has been completely on fire lately, and the 22-year-old will look to continue that momentum when he faces Everton on Sunday. Their 10-game unbeaten run at home will be put on test, as Everton comes a strong win against Chelsea, after changing their manager. Even so, United should be the favourite here.
The mental blow after a coaching change strikes again. Marco Silva parted ways with the Toffees, making room for Duncan Ferguson to take over. Consequently, Everton had his best match of the season on a 3-1 victory over the Blues, and will try to keep the good results going at Old Trafford. Even though it’s no easy task, they are more than capable of getting a result. Winless since 2014 there, Everton will rely on United’s midweek match to see if fatigue actually plays a role in the final minutes.
Manchester United has a strong record at home this season, and although they’ll play a strong team, I fancy them to get a result.
