One of the big games in tonight’s roundup is the Miami Heat against the Los Angeles Lakers at AmericanAirlines Arena.
The Heat are one of the surprises of the season until now. Jimmy Butler’s addition has been phenomenal, and their rookies such as Herro or Nunn are playing like they’ve been in the league for a long time. Miami has always been a franchise known by his culture, which if you add the right players under Erik Spoelstra's guidance, they will definitely flourish. However, they have a big task ahead tonight when they meet LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Bam Adebayo and Meyers Leonard will need to be performing at their best level to slow down the MVP candidate down lown, while Butler will try to lock down James on the perimeter. They are currently 11-0 at home, and will look to keep the streak going even against a tough opponent.
On the other hand, the LA team is tied for the NBA’s best record with the Milwaukee Bucks with 22 wins and 3 losses. It’s expected one of the most tough games in the season so far when they travel to South Florida tonight. The Heat have a perfect record at home, and are one of the hottest teams in the league. Anthony Davis, Javale Mcgee and Dwight Howard will try to take advantage of the opposing team’s small frontcourt, while LeBron distributes the ball in Rondo’s absence. Kyle Kuzma is still questionable for tonight, giving a chance for Jared Dudley and Quinn Cook to step up with quality minutes.
The Heat are invincible at home still, but the Lakers are currently the best team in the league along the Bucks. I expect them to have a statement game tonight in Miami.
