We witnessed a second consecutive meltdown from the hosts in the final over, another Super Over, and another heartbreaking loss for New Zealand. India now leads the series 4-0 and a clean sweep is within grasp. New Zealand need to find a way to fight back and prevent this embarrassing scoreline from materializing. India looks likely to continue with its experimentation and a couple more could be in store for the final T20. We are almost certain that Kuldeep Yadav and Rishab Pant will get a chance in this match as well. New Zealand made a few changes in the previous match as well but it does not have the luxury of trying anything drastic. New Zealand may be up against a relatively weaker India side but it will still have to play out of its skin to win. India is blessed with a strong bench and so any eleven players it puts on the park are going to be hard to stop.
India’s batting suffered a major top-order collapse but still managed to put together enough runs to get to a competitive total. We could have a situation where two out of India’s big 3 are not playing this match but the bench is still strong enough to challenge the Kiwis. The home side must try and win this last match to try and take some momentum into the ODI series. Toss is going to be a factor for today’s match. The team that wins the toss will want to field first. A clear and sunny day has been forecast and there is no chance of rain on match day at Mount Maunganui. The pitch is going to be batting friendly where 180-190 can be seen as per score is expected. We think a 5-0 scoreline is on the cards.
