Real Madrid host Sevilla in matchday 20 of the La Liga. At the Santiago Bernabéu, Real Madrid will try to secure the championship lead, which they share with FC Barcelona (40 points), while Sevilla (35 points) will try to close the gap to the leaders. The Andalusian team remains in fourth place, with the same score as Atletico Madrid (third).
Real Madrid won their last two games against Sevilla, the last of them at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan (1-0) earlier in the season. The meetings between Real Madrid and Sevilla usually produce good shows, and only three of the last 15 have not witnessed more than 2.5 goals.
Zidane's side is motivated by the win of the Spanish Super Cup last weekend, but they will face one of the best teams of the season in Spain. In all competitions, Real didn´t lose in the last 16 matches and are going through the best form of the season. In the league, the Real has an average of 1.86 goals scored (36) and only 0.63 conceded (12).
Sevilla still is a regular team and very hard to beat. Only four teams have been able to beat Sevilla this season, including Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, ??Eibar and Villarreal.
Sevilla arrives at the Bernabéu with just two wins in their last five games but will do everything take advantage of the Real´s pressure to stay on top. Playing away from home, Sevilla won six games, drawn two and lost two and are the best team in La Liga.
Real Madrid: Karim Benzema, Eden Hazard and Marco Asensio are injured. Sergio Ramos is questionable.
Seville: Lucas Ocampos is suspended.
Even with some key players injured, we believe Real Madrid will win the game and will continue at the top of the league.
