Arsenal will try to end their 9-game winless run tonight as they make a short trip to the Olympic Stadium to face West Ham.
With just one win in their last nine Premier League matches, the Hammers are not in a good moment and Manuel Pellegrini is under enormous pressure to maintain his job at the club. The team managed to get a surprising win at Stamford Bridge 2 fixtures ago, and that result bought some time to the Chilean coach but with 4 losses in their last 5 matches and just one point ahead of the relegation zone, there's no more margin of error for the coaching staff. The team will try to take advantage of Arsenal's bad moment to secure an important win that could level them with the Gunners in the mid-table positions.
Fabianski (Hip Injury); Lanzini (Shoulder Injury); Antonio (Doubtful due to hamstring problems).
Arsenal comes into tonight's London derby after a nine-match winless streak in all competitions. The Gunners only managed to get one Premier League victory outside the Emirates Stadium this season, against Newcastle in the first game of the competition. Arsenal's season has been plagued with uncertainty so far, following a bad start and the sacking of Unai Emery. Freddie Ljungberg took charge of the Gunners but that doesn't solve the team's problems as Arsenal got just a draw away against the 19th placed Norwich and was defeated at home against Brighton. In the last 12 months, Arsenal won just 4 of their 20 Premier League away matches.
Ceballos (Left Hamstring); Holding (Knee Injury).
Despite Arsenal's poot results lately, the team is better than West Ham and should control the game tonight.
