“Vinsanity”, as he is most known, will have played in four different decades bar any injury, if he ever plays a game for the Atlanta Hawks in 2020. Close to 43 years old, Vince joined the league in 1998 to represent the Toronto Raptors, a club that almost reached the Eastern Conference Final during his stay. He then moved to the New Jersey Nets to team up with Jason Kidd and Richard Jefferson, but never had the success the team was looking for, which was to win a championship. Orlando Magic, Dallas Mavericks, Memphis Grizzlies and the Atlanta Hawks are the other teams that had the privilege to have Carter on their roster.
Fast forward to now and he just completed his 1500th game in his career, breaking quite a few records. There are some incredible statistics that come along with Vince and his longevity. Let’s take a look at them.
As he admitted before the season starts, this is his last year in the NBA. While he didn’t win a single Larry O’Brien trophy, he will always be remembered as a legend of the game, and probably the best dunker the league has ever seen.
