UEFA admits to cancel both tournaments if it is not possible to finish until August 3.
With a turbulent start of the season that saw the sacking of Niko Kovac after a disappointing 5-1 defeat against Eintracht Frankfurt, Bayern Munich opted to appoint Hansi Flick as an interim manager and the team is showing impressive results under his management.
Hansi Flick started the season as Niko Kovac's assistant manager and took charge of the team in early November. Bayern doesn't regret their decision as the team won all the 4 matches played under Flick's in control, with an impressive goal difference of 16-0. One of them was an impressive 4-0 win against Bundesliga all-time rivals Borussia Dortmund.
Flick's work is not going unnoticed by Bayern's CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge who expressed his joy not only for the team's results but also by the quality of play. "We are totally satisfied with Hansi. Not only because we are winning. The quality of football is the decisive factor. Everything he has done so far is exactly what we wanted," Rummenigge said.
Bayern already confirmed that Flick will stay in charge of Bayern until the end of the season, but the question is: Will Bayern offer a deal and maintain the German coach for the future?
