Adding Matthijs De Ligt this year was a huge blow in Rugani's ambition to cement his place in the Juventus team. The Italian center-back has only managed to play 180 minutes in 18 matches Juventus played so far this season.
There are several clubs interested in the Italian international, both in England and Italy. Arsenal tried to sign him in the last summer transfer window without being successful and is expected to try to get the player next January. Also, Wolverhampton has been reported to be keen on the player, in an attempt to improve the squad not only for the domestic competitions but also for the knockout stages of the Europa League.
AC Milan and AS Roma can also move for the player as Rugani is seen as one of Italy's best defensive talents.
Italy will be in next June's EURO 2020 and Rugani seeks first-team minutes to secure a place in Mancini's squad. The player arrived at Juventus in 2015, with the Bianconeri paying €5 million to Empoli. The center-back has a market value of €22 million and is linked to the Turin-based club until 2024.
