The Fight for the 4th Place | A Decisive Fixture21 February 2020 / Miguel Coelho
Who's coming on top Saturday? Chelsea or Tottenham?
Last time we had a Serie A winner besides Juventus was in 2010-11. It was AC Milan's 18th Serie A title, the 4th of Zlatan's career. From that point until today, Juventus has been in complete control of the Italian league, as AC Milan struggles to keep his reputation year after year. Ibrahimovic embodies a successful period for AC Milan and his return is an attempt of the club to reverse its poor course. Is Zlatan strong enough to change something in a club that currently sits 11th in Serie A and comes from an embarrassing 5-0 loss at Bergamo against Atalanta?

The Swedish football star was part of the Rossoneri team between 2010 and 2012. In that period, the team conquered their 18th Serie A title. Zlatan was league's top scorer in the year after with 28 goals, finding the net 56 times in 85 appearances. Since 1994-95, Zlatan has the best goal ratio among the AC Milan's players with at least 2 goals in Serie A. With a 0,69 goal ratio every match, Zlatan is ahead of Shevchenko, Ronaldo Nazario, Carlos Bacca, and Alexandre Pato.
After the heavy loss against Bergamo, AC Milan's biggest loss in 21 years, the Rossoneri get back in Serie A at San Siro to face Sampdoria. The visitors are also struggling in Serie A, currently sitting in 17th place just one point ahead of the relegation zone. January 6th could be the day that San Siro will watch Zlatan with an AC Milan shirt again.
In the first leg of the round of 32 of the second European competition, most favorites obtained positive results.
