Ronaldo could leave Juventus | Man Utd and PSG are candidates01 April 2020 / Miguel Coelho
The Portuguese star could be on his way out this summer. Where could he land?
Eight consecutive games scoring. This is the current Jamie Vardy series, which has been a major figure in another major Leicester Premier League campaign. Vardy has now eight consecutive games scoring and succeeded to himself. The last time someone (Vardy) did it was in 2015, during the unforgettable season that ended with Leicester City winning the title. In that year, Vardy reached 11 consecutive games scoring. Can he match this record again?
8 - Jamie Vardy has now scored in eight consecutive Premier League games, becoming the first player to achieve that feat since Vardy himself scored in 11 in a row in November 2015. Electric. pic.twitter.com/AiXBwG1BkV— OptaJoe (@OptaJoe) 8 de dezembro de 2019
The English striker began on October 19 an endless walk. Almost two months scoring in all games that participated. The goal against Burnley was followed by Southampton (3), Crystal Palace (1), Arsenal (1), Brighton (1), Everton (1), Watford (1) and Aston Villa (2). Having scored at least eight consecutive games on two occasions, Vardy also equals Ruud Van Nistelrooy's record, which did it in 2002 and 2003.
To match his own record of 11 consecutive Premier League games, Vardy needs to be successful against Norwich, Everton and Manchester City, the next opponents of the current runners-up. This is an absolute record of the competition.
