With the departure of Gonzalo Higuaín taken for granted, Juventus is already on the market looking for a new partner for Cristiano Ronaldo and La Vecchia Signora seems to have already identified their priority target: Gabriel Jesus. The young Brazilian striker from Manchester City pleases Maurizio Sarri. In Turin, the fans already dream of an attack speaking Portuguese next season.

This season is going well for Gabriel Jesus. The Brazilian international has been a frequent option at Manchester City, collecting minutes and scoring important goals. Nine goals and five assists in the Premier League, plus four in five Champions League matches. But the truth is that Gabriel Jesus doesn't have a main role at Manchester City, usually occupied by Aguero, Bernardo Silva, Sané and Mahrez. The search for more minutes and a place in the starting eleven could lead Gabriel Jesus to find new challenges. Another point that will haunt City in the near future is the fact that the English side is banned from playing in the Champions League, which could lead to some of their biggest stars to leave. This is the case of Mahrez, who could leave for Paris Saint-Germain or Real Madrid.
Recent business history between Juventus and Manchester City could facilitate Gabriel Jesus' move to Italy. In the past decade, the two clubs have seen three superstars move among themselves. In 2013, Juventus paid €9 million to City to take the Argentine striker Carlos Tevez and, last summer, the two clubs exchanged full-backs João Cancelo and Danilo. The Portuguese joined Citizens, which in addition to Danilo paid to the Italians €28 million. In the case of Gabriel Jesus, it's expected that the deal would be done for a higher price since the 22-year-old Brazilian has a market value of around €70 million.
