Paris Saint-Germain has an history of wasting their youth talent. Who are they?
Neymar was heavily linked with a possible return to Barcelona at the beginning of the season, and the move was even forced by the Brazillian International and his entourage during the summer transfer window. However, the 28-year-old remained in Paris, dealing with the anger of thousands of PSG fans that didn´t forgive him for wanting to part ways. Neymar stayed and the numbers he's been putting this season are incredible:
14 Games | 13 Goals | 6 Assists
3 Games | 2 Goals | 2 Assists

After rumors last month suggesting that Neymar wanted to establish a new deal with Paris Saint-Germain, French sources now report that there are no negotiations between the club and the player to extend his contract beyond 2022. There are still doubts regarding Mbappe´s future at the club and that could play an important role in Neymar's decision to remain in Paris. The 21-year-old forward is yet to sign a new deal with PSG and the club is feeling the pressure of Real Madrid's intentions to make Mbappe their main star. Neymar returned from injury this Tuesday, to face Borussia Dortmund in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16. Despite the loss, Neymar scored that goal that opens good perspectives for the team in the second leg at Parc des Princes.
