3 Academy prospects Paris Saint-Germain didn’t capitalize03 April 2020 / Miguel Coelho
Paris Saint-Germain has an history of wasting their youth talent. Who are they?
There's been happening the traditional flow of rumors as we enter in the mid-season's transfer window. There's no expectation regarding major moves during this mid-season period but still, big clubs are looking for good business opportunities. Watching the reality of the top European leagues, it is expected that Arsenal will move for some players in an attempt to improve their collective performances, as well as Everton. On the other hand, Inter Milan will also have their eyes on important additions to keep fighting Juventus for the Serie A.

With De Ligt, Bonucci and Chiellini on their roster, it's difficult to gather playing minutes in Juventus' defensive sector. That's what Demiral is missing at this point, especially with Turkey heading to EURO 2020. Once viewed as Europe's top defenders, Boateng is now living a strange situation at Bayern Munich. The German international lost his space in the first-team and a move could be inevitable. Both players would be great additions for Arsenal, especially the 21-year-old from Juventus.

Reports from Italy suggest that Everton's new boss is seeking major transfers for the Toffees. James and Insigne worked with Ancelotti in the past and are viewed as great additions that fit in Everton's plan to battle England's big 6. Adrien Rabiot was launched in PSG's first-team by Carlo Ancelotti in 2011-12 and the Italian coach is also aware of the player's situation at Juventus. Rabiot is not having too many minutes with Maurizio Sarri. Also AS Roma forward Cengiz Under has been linked to the Toffees lately, as the Italian club is willing to negotiate the player at around €40 million.

The Uruguayan lost his space at Paris Saint-Germain with the arrival of Mauro Icardi and a move could be in line. Diego Simeone and Atletico Madrid already showed their desire to have the player and it seems a probable move right now, as Cavani sees also Atletico as a good move for his career. However, the negotiations should be tough as the Parisiens are not willing to let Cavani leave for free and also the player earns €12 million in salary/year that is not easy to match.
The failure of bringing Erling Haaland to Old Trafford made Manchester United look for other targets. Among many players that were pointed to the club, Celtic's striker Odsonne Edouard and Everton's forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin fit in the club's strategy to add young players with huge potential.
Sources in Italy suggest that Inter already made a move for the Danish international. According to Corriere dello Sport, the Nerazzurri already placed a €25 million bid for Eriksen. Eriksen's contract with the Spurs ends next June and this could be the last opportunity for Tottenham to get some money for the player.
